Clinical Interests:
Justin Haghverdian, M.D. is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He specializes in the nonoperative and operative management for a variety of foot and ankle disorders. His clinical interests include fractures, sports-related cartilage and ligament injuries, ankle instability, ankle arthroscopy, arthritis, total ankle replacement, flatfoot correction, bunions and hammertoes, Charcot arthropathy, and other deformities of the foot and ankle.
Research Interests:
Dr. Haghverdian has numerous clinical and research interests including minimally invasive surgical techniques, advances in the treatment of arthritis of the foot and ankle, and complex reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. He has authored several scientific studies published in a variety of academic journals, and his work has been presented at regional and national meetings. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Background:
Dr. Haghverdian was born and raised in Orange County, California. He completed his undergraduate, medical and surgical training at the University of California, Irvine. He completed his subspecialty training at the University of California, Davis – Reno Orthopedic Clinic combined orthopaedic foot and ankle fellowship, working with nationally recognized experts in the field of ankle arthroscopy, cartilage restoration, limb reconstruction, and salvage.
